The "Safe and Sound" project is a 2 year programme which is being funded direc...tly from Birmingham City Council. It will involve people taking part in workshops, drop in sessions and coffee mornings, to help them gain a greater understanding in recognising situations where their safety, security and protection might be at risk, such as safety in the home and in the community.
The 5 organisations delivering the project are; Birmingham Disability Resource Centre, Freshwinds, Midland Mencap, Focus Birmingham and Cerebral Palsy Midlands.
For more info on the project, please email Gary Watson (Centre Manager) at gwatson@cpmids.free-online.co.uk, or ring 0121 427 3182
