Cerebral Palsy Midlands are really excited to be part of this year's Harborne Artsmile event taking place in the local community on Saturday 30th September between 12 and 4pm.

The event is free and will have something for everyone of all ages and abilities to take part in. There will be all sorts of interactive art activities across the Harborne High Street.

Some our VeraNic artists from CPM will be at The Slug 'n' Lettuce painting and talking about their inspiration.

Also in Booboo Cafe (opposite Harborne Pool & Fitness Centre) we will be exhibiting a collection of artwork from our artists.

The VeraNic Art Project is a sohisticated group of artists here at CPM. The group was set up to encourage our client’s creativity and imagination through the creation of various art pieces. These range from paintings, sketches, 3D sculptures and many more. The group is led by our amazing art tutor Mark Jenkins, a freelance artist, who encourages all of our clients to express themselves, through art, in whichever way they wish.

Mondelez Community Champions Michael Huggins and Steve Davies are happy to report that they have now completed The Ride Across Britain, that is to say, they have cycled 1000 miles all the way from Lands End Cornwall up to John O'Groats in Scotland over 9 days.

Michael said "We are both very thankful for all the support you have given us. It's been an amazing experience one we will never forget."

The pair set out to raise £1,000 for each of their seven magnificent charities, with Cerebral Palsy Midlands being one of them. They have so far raised an amazing £1,115.29 for our charity alone and we are so thankful for their support.

Their fundraising doesn't end here as their giving pages will remain open until December 2017 and you can still donate here. Steve is also running in the Birmingham marathon so every support we can give him is very much needed.
