Plans for a phased re-opening
I hope you are all safe and well. Things seem to be improving with regards to Covid-19, but we must still remain vigilant and not get complacent. Please ensure you keep washing your hands and maintain social distancing. The virus is still with us so remain cautious.

Since January 2021, cases of COVID-19 have fallen significantly across the country, reducing the risk of catching the virus for everyone, including the most vulnerable. Birmingham City Council have advised that all of our citizens can return to our community day-centre in a planned phased return.

Currently we are offereing all of our citizens a one day placement every fortnight to make it fair for all. We have new procedures in place like temperature checks, hand sanitizing stations, social distancing and full PPE. We will be continuing our online presence for a while yet so that we can reach our wider community. And our welfare checks and outreach service will continue on until our service resumes.

We have made many adjustments and bought in new safe practices to make Cerebral Palsy Midlands the safest place for our citizens. We have done everything we can to reduce transmission of the Coronavirus. The robust lateral flow testing for our staff, citizens and community will ensure any person who enters our building will have had to produce evidence of a negative result prior to entry.
