Cerebral Palsy Midlands has a long history of providing fulfilling and worthwhile employment and training opportunities to people. Between March 2010 and August 2011, we employed young people through the government’s Future Jobs Fund training scheme, which aimed at providing employment and training placements for people under the age of 25, and who had been out of work for more than 6 months. The programme proved to be a huge success in Birmingham, with CPM training 41 people in adult care, and 3 in business administration.
Our training programme provides all the key skills and qualifications needed to be a successful care worker. Our training includes Manual Handling, First Aid at Work, Food Hygiene Level 2 and Disability Awareness.
If you are studying Health and Social Care at college, or would like to look into doing an apprenticeship in Adult Care with our charity, please contact us to see if there are any vacancies available.
