Big news for 2026! Birmingham Disability Festival Announces Inclusive Walk as Part of the 2026 Programme.
Starting in 2026, the Inclusive Walk will officially be part of the Birmingham Disability Festival program during Disability Pride Month.
This exciting partnership brings together community, celebration and accessibility in the heart of the city, creating space for disabled people, families, carers and allies to gather, move together, walk together and celebrate disability pride.

This festival is all about showcasing the talents and abilities of individuals with disabilities. Expect exciting performances, engaging workshops, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Come connect with others, learn something new, and most importantly, have a great time! Let's celebrate ability together at Birmingham Disability Festival & Inclusive Walk 2026.
When & where is the festival?
When: Saturday 4th July 2026
Where: BMet College Campus
Festival Timings: 11 am – 6 pm
Inclusive Walk: 12 pm – 4 pm around Aston University Lake.
Parking: Millennium Point Multi – Story Car Park, Howe St, Birmingham B4 7AP. If you display your Blue Badge, parking is free with no time limits.
The Birmingham Disability Festival & Inclusive Walk can confirm that West Midlands Bus on Demand service will be providing a shuttle bus service between Millennium Point, Moor St Station and Grand Central Station to BMet College, and the vehicles are inclusive for adapted vehicles and mobility needs.

Join the Inclusive Walk
The walk is accessible, you can take part at your own pace. Everyone will receive a certificate and medal!
This year for the first time there will be an Inclusive Walk for people of all abilities and in any type of Mobility vehicle they need for disabilities and their families / friends / carers taking place at the festival, open to the public the walk will be taking place 12pm until 4pm on the day.
Once you have taken part in the Inclusive Walk, you can enjoy all of the other festival activities, entertainment, stalls, refreshments and more. This isn’t just a walk, it’s a moment of visibility, pride and solidarity for Birmingham’s disability community.
Pre-Registration is highly recommended to ensure you have a booked space!
