Record-breaking Success at our Wheel'n'Walk Event!
On Sunday 2nd June, we witnessed 11 Birmingham causes and charities coming together to walk in Cannon Hill Park. The event aimed to promote inclusion and raise funds on a sunny day in Birmingham. Over 300 people participated in the Wheel'n'Walk event, including families, carers, and children of all abilities and backgrounds. It was an incredibly inclusive and accessible walk, the largest event we have organised together.
Each charity used the walk to fundraise and CPM are proud to say we raised £1573!
Everyone enjoyed being a part of this years heart warming enjoyable and inclusive event. 'Fitnniss' lead with an inclusive warm up followed by The Dhol Crew who bought the energy to everyone waiting to start and lead he wheelers and walkers on their first lap. Everyone that participated had a medal, a certificate, a goody bag, waters and refreshments.

We owe a huge thanks to our sponsors for their support, allowing us to make this event happen.
The incredible 'Dhol Crew' brought an amazing energy to the start of the walk, leading hundreds of people on their first lap.
Fitnniss donated £500 towards the event costs and gave us an inclusive warm-up at the beginning of our walk.
Irwin Mitchell bought an almighty team of volunteers and handed out goody bags throughout the day. They also printed our amazing brochures!
Huge thanks to the Northfield Neighbourhood Network Service and the Birmingham City Council for funding the 'RevoLOOtion' mobile-accessible 'Changing Place' facility. This helps to make our event fully inclusive for people with disabilities who require this service.
Lovely to see Woodgate Valley Fire Service supporting our Wheel'n'Walk!
