Cerebral Palsy Midlands Featured on ITV News

We were proud to see Cerebral Palsy Midlands featured on ITV News, highlighting the positive impact of our day service and the importance of inclusive activities for adults with disabilities.

The feature offered viewers a glimpse into daily life at CPM and showcased the supportive, vibrant community that our citizens, staff, and partners have created together.

Media coverage like this plays an important role in raising awareness of adult day services, and disability inclusion.

Inclusive Dance with FreeWheelin Dance

The ITV News segment also highlighted one of our regular sessions delivered by FreeWheelin Dance, led by talented dance tutor Helen Mason.
These inclusive dance sessions are a much-loved activity within our day service, offering opportunities for people to:

Express themselves through movement
Improve confidence and well-being
Stay active in a fun and supportive environment
Connect with others through creativity and shared experiences

Dance sessions like these demonstrate how inclusive activities can support both physical and emotional well-being while bringing people together.

The impact of our day service

At CPM, our day service provides opportunities for adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to build independence, develop skills, and enjoy meaningful social experiences.

From creative sessions and community outings to health and wellbeing activities, we focus on creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and empowered. Our citizens are at the heart of everything we do.

Raising Awareness of Disability Inclusion

Being featured on ITV News helps shine a light on the importance of accessible, inclusive community spaces where disabled people can thrive.

We hope this coverage helps more people learn about the work we do and encourages the wider community to continue supporting disability inclusion.
