CPM Runners Raise Funds for Jack's Mollii Therapy Suit
We did it!
A team of runners from Birmingham Charity, Cerebral Palsy Midlands, participated in the “A J Bell Great Birmingham Run” event for Jack and his Mollii therapy suit on Sunday 5th May. As if running the 10k route wasn’t challenging enough, the team of runners pushed Jack in a sports wheelchair around the 10k course as well. We are grateful to all the runners, supporters, and donors who have contributed to the cause.

Thanks to the collective efforts of Cerebral Palsy Midlands, the CPM Running Team, our supporters, Heidi and Jack and their super supportive family and friends, we were able to raise the full £6000 needed towards Jack's own Mollii therapy suit. The Mollii therapy suit is a revolutionary design that aids people suffering from spasticity, muscle weakness, movement disorders, pain, and related symptoms. Jack, who has cerebral palsy, was able to try the suit on 'BBC's The One Show' with 'National Star College' and achieved significant improvements.
Usng the Mollii therapy suit for the first time, Jack was able to sit up straight, hold his head up, feed himself, and walk using a walker outside. These improvements will be life changing for Jack and his future.

Jack has a wedding coming up and he is now looking forward to owning the suit so he can walk down the aisle for his fiancée Beth. (Pictured on the left).

The cost of the suit is £6,000. We are so pleased to have boosted his fundraising to make Jack's dream come true.
An extra special thanks to our 2024 CPM Running Team; Sarah Lilly, Jack Reeve, Heidi Wells, Billy Wells, George Wells, Paul Watson, Sarah Sahota, Anne Noott, Stephen Curwood and Abi Judd from Star College.

We are thrilled to announce that our dedicated team of runners has successfully raised a total of £6000 for Cerebral Palsy Midlands! Thanks to their incredible efforts and the generous support of our community, we were able to reach our fundraising goal.

This achievement is a true testament to the power of teamwork and the unwavering commitment of our supporters. With each stride they took, our runners brought us one step closer to our fundraising goal.

The funds raised will go towards purchasing a Mollii Therapy Suit for Jack, a member of our community who will greatly benefit from this innovative technology. This suit will not only improve Jack's mobility and overall quality of life.

We are endlessly grateful to our runners, donors, and supporters for making this success possible. Your generosity and dedication have made a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve, and we are truly inspired by your commitment to our cause.

Thank you for believing in the mission of Cerebral Palsy Midlands and for helping us achieve this incredible milestone. Together, we have proven that with hard work, determination, and a shared sense of purpose, anything is possible. Thank you for your support and for helping us make a difference in the lives of those in need.
