WOW! What a fabulous event we had on 20th August when Cerebral Palsy Midlands (CPM) open up its doors to the community for our annual Summer Sizzler. 220 beautiful souls came into our buzzing centre, as we spent the day enjoying all the actvites. We topped our fundraising efforts from last year, raising an impressive £1,071.15 for the Summer Sizzler Fete, achieving the highest amount ever for a Summer Sizzler!
Cerebral Palsy Midlands event highlights included:
Being Heard Summer Sing-a-long.
Creature Feature Animal Handling.
A Top-Tier Tombola.
Craig's Ventriloquist acts.
Dancing.
A Great Big BBQ.
Face Painting.
A fantastic Samba Band.
An amazing Raffle.
Meeting Spiderman.
Pottery crafts with Rainey Community Creations.
Stalls from Beeze, Irwin Mitchell, Alzheimers Society, WM Disability Action, Sensory Hug, and more!
A massive thank you to everyone who made this special day possible, including Irwin Mitchell, DJ Ian, and everyone who generously donated raffle prizes. We raised the most we ever have at a Summer Sizzler, which allows us to continue our work, which we could not have done without your support - Thank you so much!
Here at CPM we are so elated with how to day went. It was so well received by the community, and had such a positive impact on our citizens and staff. We hope you also had a great time, and we hope to see you all again soon!
