Boccia hosted by "Lived Experience of Disability"

Tutor Phil says:
"It is a pleasure to play Boccia with the citizens at CPM. Sessions include a range of games including skittles, target practices and Boccia Noughts and Crosses. We usually end with a game of Boccia.

The great thing about the sessions is that the citizens can join in as much as they would like and the skill level has improved since sessions began in January. I’m excited to see how Boccia will develop further at CPM in the future."
Every Thursday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the atmosphere at CPM transforms into a hub of excitement, thanks to Phil! As he facilitates the Boccia and game sessions, an great energy fills the air. With a treasure trove of adaptive equipment meticulously set up, everyone is invited to join in the fun.

Phil has a remarkable way of connecting with each participant, fostering an inclusive environment where every citizen feels empowered to join in, regardless of their experience level. His passion for the games has made him a beloved figure in the community; people eagerly look forward to these sessions each week. Laughter, friendly competition, and new friendships blossom as players of all abilities come together to enjoy the thrill of Boccia and other engaging games. In Phil's hands, these gatherings are more than just play; they are weekly celebrations of togetherness and joy!
