Let's make  waves together

Welcome to the "Movement in Water" Program, an empowering and inclusive initiative by Cerebral Palsy Midlands, designed to support our adults with disabilities through water and swim sessions at Harborne Pool & Fitness Centre. Please note this program is only for our citizens and service users who have been funded to access our adult day service at CPM.
Led by our dedicated team, citizens experience the countless benefits of movement in water, enhancing physical well-being and promoting a sense of achievement in a supportive environment.

Sucess Stories Hurray for Hamzah

Join us in applauding the incredible progress of participants like Hamzah, who recently embarked on his first "Movement in Water" session. Hamzah's remarkable journey is a testament to the program's effectiveness in promoting confidence and physical prowess.

"Well Done Hamzah, you did absolutely incredible!"

Success Stories Keep it up Kerrie

From relying on floation aids to swimming independently, Kerrie's progress is truly inspiring!
Kerrie is now able to swim confidently without the floats and without support from the CPM staff team, which is truly an incredible achievement. Congratulations to Kerrie and the team.
Please note that Harborne Pool & Fitness Centre offers regular ‘Disability Swim’ sessions, which you can access through the following link: [Disability Swim Sessions](https://www.placesleisure.org/centres/harborne-pool-and-fitness-centre/centre-activities/swimming-lessons/#timetable). While they do not provide care or carers, the disability swim sessions are designed to be more accommodating and less crowded than their other swim sessions. The facility is equipped with a pool hoist and an accessible pool chair, as well as a Changing Places changing room.
