    AGM and Awards 2024: Celebrating Achievements and Leadership Cerebral Palsy Midlands hosted a successful Annual General Meeting, celebrating the achievements of our citizens and announcing key leadership updates. The event saw Anthony Ellis and Anthony Lunney honoured with prestigious awards for their outstanding efforts, and new roles confirmed within our Board of Trustees. Highlights included the election of James Grenfell as Chairman, the re-election of Allyson Lilly as Parent Trustee, and the appointment of Julie Steele as Treasurer. Former Chairman Andrew Wall was celebrated for his years of dedicated service and will continue contributing as a Trustee. Together, we look forward to a brighter future, driven by collaboration, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to inclusion.

    CPM raised over £2700 at their annual charity fundraiser on Saturday, 12th October, with their "Weoley Big Night Out" event. This event is not only a fundraiser but also an inclusive social night out for those in our community, as well as their friends and family. The night included food, entertainment, and dancing. We also provided care and transport for those who needed it, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to attend such a social event. This year, the Weoley Big Night Out had an "Under the Sea" theme, with many attendees dressed in sea creature or pirate attire.

    CPM staff and volunteers supported 4 citizens in having a much needed break away to a very accessible place called The Big Tin Barn in Ilminster, Somerset in October.

    Cerebral Palsy Midlands opened its doors to the whole community. The event aimed to showcase and highlight the great work that we do here at CPM supporting adults with disabilities and the wider community. Over 300 people attended the event, including citizens, families, carers, and children of all abilities and backgrounds. This event was a fundraiser, we raised money from the tombola and the raffle on the day, raising £843.90 altogether!
