    We are thrilled to announce that our dedicated team of runners has successfully raised a total of £6000 for Cerebral Palsy Midlands! Thanks to their incredible efforts and the generous support of our community, we were able to reach our fundraising goal.

    Sunday 2nd June witnessed 11 Birmingham causes and charities coming together to walk in Cannon Hill Park. The event promoted inclusion and raised essential charity funds on a sunny day in Birmingham. Over 300 people participated in the Wheel'n'Walk event, including families, carers, and children of all abilities and backgrounds. It was an incredibly inclusive and accessible walk, the largest event we have organised together.

    A grant was awarded for 'Tea and T’internet,' a beginner internet group for people living with Cerebral Palsy, in partnership with CPM. The project aims to enhance participants' internet skills and provide a social environment.
  • Step Up for Jack Posted on 7th May 2024 at 15:18
    A team of runners raised over £4000 for Jack's therapy suit. The team ran Birmingham 10k pushing Jack in a sports wheelchair. The Mollii therapy suit helps people with CP suffering from spasticity, muscle weakness, and movement disorders. Jack tried the suit on 'BBC's The One Show' and achieved significant improvements. He aims to walk down the aisle for his wedding in his own suit!

    The March edition of the 'CPM Update' Charity Newsletter is out now! Here's a summary of what's included: - We've partnered with Birmingham Community Lottery to launch a new lottery to raise funds. - Our website has a fresh new look. - Our 'Movement in Water' sessions and Being Heard Music Group have exciting plans. - Our short film "Tea With Two Sugars" made it to the finals. - We're raising funds for our friend Jack's Mollii Suit. - Join us for our Wheel'n'Walk sponsored walk event. - We've added a new relaxation session for carers.

    We are excited to announce the launch of our Cerebral Palsy Midlands page on the new Birmingham Community Lottery website in partnership with BVSC and other charities and causes local to the Birmingham area. By purchasing a ticket for as little as £1, you can support our great charity and have a chance to win a share of great prizes. 50% of each £1 ticket will be donated to Cerebral Palsy Midlands. The top prize is £25,000. The first draw will take place on Saturday, March 30th.
