The Charity Film Awards is one of the largest charity events of the year, with a ceremony, entertainment and drinks in March at the ODEON Luxe cinema in Leicester Square. The event draws in hundreds of entrants, from whom the finalists gain millions more views as a result of the event.
We have until midnight GMT on Wednesday 24 January to get as many votes as we possibly can to be in with the chance of winning.
The Being Heard musical film of "Tea With Two Sugars" is a heartwarming musical that sheds light on the struggles of accessing transportation for adults with disabilities.
The Being Heard group was inspired to write a musical that would help raise awareness and promote inclusion. In the face of life's challenges, particularly around accessing transport, individuals at CPM have chosen to embrace their journey with cerebral palsy and complex needs, turning these daily challenges into an opportunity for musical expression. At the heart of it all lies an unwavering commitment to 'be seen', 'be heard', and 'be celebrated' for who they are and the stories they wish to tell. Often, these stories are spoken about over tea or a coffee with friends, hence the name for this musical, "A Tea with Two Sugars."
Cerebral Palsy Midlands have submitted this film and we need your votes to be successful.
