Twelve Birmingham charities and causes will be taking part in a giant inclusive and accessible ‘walkathon’ through Birmingham’s Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham on Sunday 2nd June to celebrate inclusion and raise money for people with disabilities.
Step into the spirit of inclusion and join us for this year's annual "Wheel'n'Walk – Birmingham's Walk for Inclusion!" Set against the picturesque backdrop of Cannon Hill Park, we're gearing up for an unforgettable event on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, starting at the iconic 'Bandstand' area at 11 am.
This isn't just a walk; it's a celebration of diversity, unity, and the power of community. "Wheel'n'Walk" is not just an event, but a step towards creating a more inclusive world. Enjoy taking part with your entire family – it's an open invitation for all ages and abilities!
Here are the highlights from last years wonderful Wheel'n'Walk event at Cannon Hill Park, Sunday 25th June 2023.
Last year local drummers 'the Dhol Crew' got everyone excited and ready to take off at the very start of the 'Wheel'n'Walk.
Whether you prefer to stroll at a leisurely pace, skip with enthusiasm, or roll smoothly with a wheelchair, every step contributes to making a positive impact. The flat and accessible route at Cannon Hill Park ensures that everyone can partake in the festivities. Walk, hop, skip, push, or be pushed – the choice is yours!

As you conquer each lap, bask in the satisfaction of knowing you're supporting a noble cause, Cerebral Palsy Midlands. Our promise to you? A shiny medal to wear proudly, a certificate recognising your achievement, and a moment of well-deserved refreshment waiting for you at the finish line.

Let's make a difference together. Your participation in "Wheel'n'Walk" supports Cerebral Palsy Midlands in its tireless efforts to promote inclusivity and uplift individuals with cerebral palsy.

Mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and get your daily steps in. We can't wait to see you at the starting line of Birmingham's Walk for Inclusion – where every step counts and every heart contributes to a more inclusive tomorrow!
