Being Heard research 'Danny, the Champion of the World' a 1975 book written by Roald Dahl.
Our 'Being Heard' Musical Choir group here at Cerebral Palsy Midlands consists of thirteen members. It's the largest group activity in our centre.
They are currently working on 'Danny, Champion of the World' as part of research for this years musical production in September 2019. Once they have read the book they will start to write and direct songs they can sing along to. Many of their productions have around eight songs along with narration, that the group have created, together with Musical Director and tutor Richard Ganner.

Sam says; "I myself feel really good when I read the book because it makes me feel like I am really there and living the story."
Joe says; "I feel engrossed when I listen to the book being read out loud."
Gary says; "I enjoy it because it is something different for the group to read and it makes our day interesting."
