Heroic VELO cyclists

Thank you to our cycling champions!
A big thanks to these two men who keep giving and doing majorly heroic things for charities like us. Here are our Mondelez International (Cadbury's Bournville) Community Champions Michael Huggins and Steve Davies as they set out yesterday to cycle 100 miles for their chosen charities in the Birmingham Velo Race; Acorns Hospice, Cerebral Palsy Midlands, Sandwell Advocacy, Macmillan Cancer Support and Primrose Hospice. They have raised £300 for Cerebral Palsy Midlands and are looking to get a further £200 cash matched from Mondelez International to give them a total figure of £500! Thank you to Steve and Michael - we don't know how you do it!
The two champions have more ambitious plans for the year to continue fundraising for their five charities. They have planned:
A potential cycle to Wembley depending on whether a certain sporting team win.
3/4 August 2019 Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 - a well known challenging 100 mile cycle.
Birmingham Great Run - Half Marathon
A Halloween themed fancy dress event at Cadbury World
And maybe a couple of other challenges over the year
We at Cerebral Palsy Midlands are always in awe of these two people who devote so much of their personal time and energy into giving to local charities like us. We do talk about their successes so much as they deserve all the praise and recognition for supporting us again and again.
If anyone else is interested in fundraising for Cerebral Palsy Midlands please do contact Development Officer Sarah Lilly for a Fundraising Pack. Either email sarah@cpmids.org.uk or telephone 0121 427 3182 ext.3 .
